Don't just learn about wine, learn how to make wine!

Students from the Special Needs Unit at Regional Gymnasium of Livadia together with their teachers and other support staff learned how to make wine at school. This activity had a great impact on the students as they practiced their skills to produce homemade wine (from juice) by following an easy to follow, step-by step process. They understood wine making terminology and they learned how yeast produces alcohol in the process of fermentation. Students learned about the use and understood about the necessary equipment to make wine. They also learned how to bottle and store wine.
